Education & Background

Earl R. Lund, M.D. graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M and received his medical degree from UT-Galveston where he received the Jimmie Doyle Dickens Award for Excellence in Anatomy. Following his orthopedic residency, he pursued additional specialty training in hand surgery through a fellowship at USC/Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles and earned a Certificate for Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Dr. Lund is a member of several professional medical societies including, the American Medical Association, American Society for the Surgery of the Hand, Texas Medical Association, Collin County Medical Society, and the Honorary Medical Service Fraternity.

Dr. Lund enjoys basketball, golf and snow skiing. He resides in Plano, TX with his wife, Dr. Karen Lund, who is a dermatologist in Plano, TX.
